Managing Members

MageDrop lets you invite other people to collaborate on your stores. Each store has its own member list with two roles — Owner and Member — so you can control who has access to sensitive settings.

Roles

The user who creates a store is automatically assigned the Owner role. Owners cannot be removed by other members.

Inviting members

1. Navigate to your store and click the Members tab.
2. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
3. Choose a role — Member or Owner.
4. Click Send Invite.

The invited person will receive an email with a link to accept or decline the invitation. Invitations expire after 7 days.

Inviting someone who doesn't have an account

If the email address isn't registered on MageDrop, they'll receive an email with a link to create an account. Once they've registered, their pending invitation will appear on their Stores page where they can accept it.

Accepting an invitation

When you're invited to a store, you can accept in two ways:

• From the email — click the Accept Invitation button. You'll need to be logged in (or log in when prompted).
• From the dashboard — pending invitations appear as a banner at the top of your Stores page. Click Accept or Decline.

Resending an invitation

If an invitation is still pending or was declined, the store owner can resend it from the Members tab. This generates a fresh invitation link with a new 7-day expiry.

Removing a member

Store owners can remove members from the Members tab. Click Remove next to the member you want to remove. This immediately revokes their access to the store — they will no longer see it in their dashboard or be able to access any of its releases or revisions.

Owners can remove any other member, including other owners. The only restriction is that you cannot remove yourself.
